Ed German

Host of The Urban Jazz Experience & Friday Night Soul

Ed German served in Vietnam with the Marines from 1968-1969 and is a portrait artist and author of Deep Down in Brooklyn.  He has been at 88.3FM since 1996 and is Host and Producer of The Urban Jazz Experience, music that centers around mid-twentieth century progressive jazz and music iconic of mid-twentieth century entertainment.

Ed is also Host and Producer of Friday Night Soul - dance and romance music from the 50s to the 80s, including Soul, Disco, Latin and Old-School hip hop.
